The UN has been bringing together almost every country on earth for global climate summits – called COPs(Conference of the Parties) where climate change has gone from being a fringe issue to a global priority after nearly three decades. The current COP26 that has been taking place in Glasgow has the following agenda item, namely;
- Accelerate the transition from coal to clean power
- Protect and restore nature for the benefit of people and climate
- Accelerate the transition to zero emission vehicles
- Raise climate ambition through science and innovation
These challenges will lead many companies to ponder the question: “What do we do after COP26?”.
